Start your adventure with a Mount Toubkal trek 2 days from Marrakech. This popular hike takes you to the roof of North Africa — Jbel Toubkal at 4,167 meters.
First, we leave Marrakech at 8:00 AM. Then, we drive through the Ourika Valley. After passing Asni, the landscape changes. It goes from dry and dusty to green and mountainous. Soon, we reach Imlil. This charming Berber village sits in the High Atlas Mountains. It’s the perfect base for trekkers.
From Imlil, we begin our climb. The trail leads through quiet valleys and rocky paths. While the walk is challenging, it’s suitable for most fitness levels. We hike for about 5–6 hours on day one. Finally, we arrive at the Toubkal Base Camp. Here, we rest and sleep at the refuge.
Day two starts early. We begin the summit push before sunrise. The path is steep but clear. As the sun rises, the views become breathtaking. After reaching the top, we celebrate. Then, we descend back to Base Camp. From there, we hike down to Imlil. After lunch, we return to Marrakech by car.

After breakfast in your accommodation, our Guide or driver will pick you up and take you to the High Atlas Mountains, where the trip starts from Imlil (1740m), the big Berber village situated 65 km south of Marrakesh. Here you will meet your team, who will accompany you during this amazing trek. The muleteers will deal with your luggage. Within 30 minutes you start the walk with an experienced local mountain guide through the Berber villages, following a mule track that will take you to the mountain hut via the shrine Sidi Chamharouch (2500m) where you will have your picnic lunch. After lunch, a short break, and then we continue towards the refuge of Mount Toubkal at 3200m. A hot shower is available and dinner will be prepared for you in the evening. You will spend the night in the refuge. Option: During the summer months, the night can be spent in a tent – to be advised in advance. Duration: 5 hour
The next days, you have to get up very early and have breakfast and then start the ascent climbing. We take step by step until we get to the point above the hut where you have a short break. After 3 or 4 hours of walking up, you will reach the Toubkal summit at 4167m and have a breathtaking view of all of the High Atlas Mountains. A break on the summit at 4167m will allow you to take pictures and enjoy the view before we start going down to the refuge. Lunch will be ready for you there. After lunch, we start our descent to Imlil by the same route. The driver will already be waiting to take you back to Marrakech. Duration: 10 hour
